The Senior Manage r , Automation Engineering on our Ambient Automation team will lead efforts to explore, design, and install innovative material handling solutions and automation capabilities to support our needs for exponential capacity growth within our distribution and fulfillment centers.

This role will report to the Senior Director, Automation Engineering and can anticipate travel 25% of the time. This is an onsite role based in Bentonville, Arkansas; a full relocation package is available, but we are not considering remote candidates.

What you'll do....

  • Partnership and Collaboration: Engag e with cross-functional team members, analyz e stakeholder needs and tak e a "one team" approach to collaborate and accomplish goals related to key strategic initiatives in supply chain and beyond.

  • Talent Management: Lead and manage a team of engineers with varying levels of experience. Develo p and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.

  • Influential Communication: I nfluenc e internal and external business partners by utilizing relevant data and fact-based information to articulate results and provide strong recommendations on key design and strategy decisions .

  • Automation System Design & Integration: Consult o n the use of advanced machineries for automation of supply chain processes, helping to develop and implement long-range automation plans and combining knowledge of automation/system design and learnings from previous implementations into road maps. Lead external automation and MHE providers through design, implementation, and commissioning of systems.

  • Process Flow Design: Interpret information, analyz e processes and document common obstacles and barriers to ensure effective and successful project launches.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 4 years' experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area. Option 2: 6

years' experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area.

2 years' supervisory experience.
