Google Technical Program Manager, Data Center Manufacturing Systems in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in technical program management within a manufacturing supply chain environment.

  • Experience in manufacturing systems (e.g., ERP, MES, PLM, etc.), supply chain planning tools, and data analytics platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience managing project delivery.

  • Ability to motivate and lead multi-disciplinary teams, build consensus, and drive accountability.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As the Data Center Manufacturing Systems Technical Program Manager, you will drive designs, implementation, and improvement of innovative technology solutions that optimize the data center manufacturing supply chain processes. The team supports systems architecture, interactions, and debugging that helps innovation and automation for Cloud Supply Chain and Server Operations (CSCO) teams.

  • Lead a cross-functional team driving design, development, and deployment of data center systems globally.

  • Manage product life-cycle software tools for data centers.

  • Manage product documentation (e.g., Business Requirements, Pilot Plan, etc.), phase gate reviews, communication and user feedback collection at various stages in the life-cycle (e.g., User Acceptance Testing, User Surveys, Critical User Journeys).

  • Lead collaboration for Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and Fleet Deployment teams to ensure regional and global alignment on strategic product and technology roadmaps.

  • Help deliver data center up-time, operational performance variation reduction, defect reduction, and cost reduction.
