Google Software Engineer, Embedded Systems, Silicon in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 1 year of experience working in Embedded SW/Firmware (FW) development.

  • 1 year of programming and debugging experience in C/C++

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience with Kernel Drivers, Android Internals, or System Programming.

  • 2 years of experience working with Embedded Systems, or Computer Architecture.

  • 2 years of experience working with DSP, Multithreaded Programming, or ARM.

  • 2 years of experience working with Linux, Testing, Debugging, or Android BSP.

  • Solid programming and debugging skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for design and development of embedded system software for Google IPs, often used by Pixel phones.Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make computing faster, seamless, and more powerful. We aim to make people's lives better through technology.

  • Work with cross-geo teams and stakeholders to design, develop and maintain high quality software (SW) stacks.
