Job Description

Design, implement and manage cloud software solutions across Exadata, OCI and other multiple cloud vendor platforms and develop software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement solutions: Work on designing and implementing multi cloud test applications that leverage existing Exadata capabilities for multiple cloud vendors including Azure, GCP, and AWS.

  • Manage complexity: Manage the complexity of a multi-cloud architecture

  • Collaborate: Work with internal and external partners to build new services and work closely with the support teams for migrating services, lift & shift, re-architect and re-design infrastructure solutions for OnPrem and other clouds.

  • Optimize Solutions: Help with ensuring the cloud network architectures being developed optimize performance and security while being cost effective.

  • Automate: Reduce manual overhead with proficiency in automation and scripting languages to help automate cloud deployments

  • Monitor and troubleshoot: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the cloud environment

  • Create applications: Create internal application/solutions to improve development productivity

  • Convert requirements: Convert the technical requirements of projects to achievable deliveries

  • Ensure reliability: Ensure cloud solutions and operations are reliable

  • Stay current: Stay abreast of new technologies and trends in cloud computing

  • Technical leadership, sharing expertise in cloud services, while gathering requirements from stakeholders and putting to use best practices and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications

  • Education – B.Tech/M.Tech (Computer Sc./IT) from a premier institute such as IIT/NIT/IIIT/BITS etc

  • Strong understanding of database technologies and cloud networking, along with troubleshooting experience for using development automation tools for CICD - Terraform, Docker, Github, Jira, Swagger, TeamCity etc.

  • 2+ years of core experience developing solutions for any cloud platform

  • Good to have some exposure to any cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP and cloud based tools.

  • Good knowledge of Oracle database, Storage, and Linux fundamentals.

  • Knowledge of network fundamentals such as VCN, Ethernet, RoCE, TCP/IP, routing, DHCP etc.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team
