This will include overall design, content handling, content management and dynamic publishing of flat and multimedia content. HTML creation will be the primary focus, with associated quality control and reporting duties.

Responsibilities

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and improve the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Provides support to digital marketing activities that optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Assists on creation of online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Assist in translating ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social and paid advertising. Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies basic application of statistics-based market intelligence to business issues. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles.

The Web publisher works at the company sites providing design, implementation and support for country website content as required; managed through the Oracle.com engagement and life cycle management processes. This includes overall design, content processing, content management and publishing of both flat and multimedia content. Support time critical publishing like press releases, global campaign and global events publishing.

The ability to produce HTML to a high standard, within any code and design guidelines laid down by Oracle is essential. The production of forms and user interfaces through the use of provided service's tools and HTML is required.

The design and creation of appropriate images (static or animated) to a high standard (including image optimization) for use within specific websites is also required.

Responsibilities also include liaising with Oracle personnel, country managers and or content providers, with design consultancy, web solutions and task prioritisation decisions as appropriate.

Working closely with a wide variety of Oracle internal and external agency staff, good interpersonal and self leadership skills are required. Tasks allocated to the web publisher may involve co-ordination and collaboration work with global marketing teams, program creation groups, PR teams and or other business units.

Representing the production arm of oracle.com International Team, the web publisher will exercise with good field the processes and methodologies of the team.

§ Content and Messaging: Manage the content creation process with copy writers and events teams. Develop assets that build clear value propositions and messaging that resonates globally, improves awareness for event topics or focus areas. Deliver content in time for regions to localize and translate for all their digital marketing channels. Collaborate with internal creative teams to craft the content within provided style guides and ensure all content follows brand and company standards.

Required Knowledge and Skills

HTML 4 and above (XHTML2 ) , 4 years minimum HTML production and design experience in a commercial environment.

Required: Expert user of Oracle WebCenter Content, WebCenter Sites and OCE (Oracle Content and Experience) including experience required using the Oracle Modernization platform including Global Language Fallback and cross linking.

Knowledge of “hand-tagging” HTML (i.e. using a text editor) as well as standard commercial HTML authoring tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud).

Experience of JavaScript, CSS, JSP is helpful.

Experience of crafting static and animated images for use on websites, including image optimization, using popular applications such as Photoshop or Image Ready.

Familiarity with content management systems and GUI FTP tools encouraged.

Should have a good knowledge of web design basics including layout, page optimization, design, typography, spacing and colour.

Should have platform experience with Windows PC.

Should possess excellent communication skills, with good English written and verbal.

The ability to accurately quantify production time scales is vital.

Should be willing and able to learn.

Should offer a flexible and new way and be a teammate with a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

Duties and tasks are varied and sophisticated needing independent judgment. Fully proficient in own area of expertise. May have degree in Computers or equivalent experience
