Google Group Product Manager, YouTube Creator in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder, or a related technical role.

  • 5 years of experience building and shipping technical products.

  • 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.

  • Experience driving elements of the product development lifecycle such as product outlook, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, and product launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in innovating large-scale solutions to introduce workflow or cost efficiencies (i.e., through tooling or other product solutions).

  • Familiarity with business or partner engagement functions including identifying user/customer segmentations, setting adoption/ROI goals.

  • Familiarity with customer/user support (i.e., driving down escalation volume, cost per user, improving first time resolution, TRT, AHT, CSAT at scale).

  • Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to lead teams in generating insights from support data to identify issues and prioritize solutions.

  • Excellent influence and executive communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners including C-level stakeholders.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As the Head of Creator Support Products, you will be establishing a product strategy to build great experiences to support creators in resolving problems and getting help from YouTube.

In this role, you will collaborate with team members in San Bruno and Zurich across the YouTube Business and Operations organization, Trust and Safety, Ads product teams, and teams across product areas at YouTube. You can grow and scale a new center of product excellence in Bengaluru and be passionate about leading site and team strategy over the next several years as YouTube grows.

  • Improve the internal tools for employees such as agents to easily diagnose and address creator issues focussed on creator admin/iStudio.

  • Build external-facing products that help creators get answers, information, or resolve issues themselves.

  • Establish a shared direction and process for consolidating over 200+ internal tools into a anchor tooling, providing an exceptional support experience for our thousands of partner managers and other internal teams.

  • Define highest priority goals across our product solutions for critical creator pain points (e.g., demonetization, account hijacking, account suspensions, etc.).

  • Establish a measurement of success/Return on Investment (ROI) in our cost savings across our support tooling, design roadmap.
