Boeing India Engineering has an immediate opening for .Net Developer to be part of the success of Sales and Marketing team, under IT&DA organization. The position offers unique challenges and opportunities at the same time. Working with core business group within Boeing, the position offers larger stake holder collaboration and a chance to be part of the Boeing Commercial business success story.

This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.

Position Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate gels with current team of developers in creating world class Boeing business products in Sales and marketing domain, which in term enable commercial aviation team to maintain the sales pipeline and carry out sales.

  • The team will consist of highly motivated developers and quality engineers working directly with business stake holders in developing and maintaining the current product suite of applications.

  • This position will also be responsible for coordinating and communicating regularly with experts in Sales and Marketing team, stake holders and leadership team within the Agile/SAFe process.

  • This position supports initiatives of Boeing India organization related to engineering excellence, employee development, customer engagement etc.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Knowledge of SAFe/Agile.

  • Experience with Microsoft technology stack.

  • Familiarity with Software product development life cycle (SLDC).

  • Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.

  • Must be able to work collaboratively with multi-functional teams within Boeing and external partners.

  • Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and complete projects.

  • Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.

  • Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with team members across different cultures and time-zones

  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English, and have high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools to prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work.

  • Must have experience leading teams and have the ability to mentor and teach juniors and partners to accomplish project and departmental goals and objectives.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :

  • Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, team members, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and complete projects.

  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English, and have high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools to prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work.

  • Estimate user stories/features (story point estimation) and tasks in hours with the required level of accuracy and commit them as part of Sprint Planning.

  • Contributes to the Backlog refinement meetings by promptly asking relevant questions to ensure requirements achieve the right level of DOR.

  • Works with the Product Owner to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality.

  • Raise any impediments/risks (technical/operational/personal) they come across and approaches Scrum Master/Technical Architect/PO accordingly to arrive at a solution

  • Update the status and the remaining efforts for their tasks on a daily basis

  • Ensures change requests are treated correctly and tracked in the system, impact analysis done and risks/timelines are appropriately communicated.

  • Develops working software towards committed Team PI Objectives and Iteration plans.

  • Delivers working software in accordance with expected quality standards.

  • Designs for testability: Design and evolve the system to support testability and test automation.

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Typically, 8 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
