Concordia College On-Call Custodian in Bemidji, Minnesota
Job Summary/Basic Function
- Support the mission of Concordia Language Villages by providing a clean and safe environment for staff, clients, participants and villagers.
- Prepare Villages for participants and clients by cleaning residences, bathrooms, dining halls, offices and indoor areas.
- Work enthusiastically as part of a team environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to exercise time management
- Lift 40 pounds unassisted and 80 pounds assisted several times per day
- Ability to use a variety of cleaning chemicals
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Must be able to kneel, stoop, stand for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including some weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid drivers license and insurable driving record.
Wage
$15 - $16.50 per hour
