Position summary T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Sr Engineers, Systems Design located in Bellevue, WA will plan, design, and implement networked systems of very large scope and very high complexity. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: design/integrate advanced solutions including GSM, UMTS, LTE, IMS, M2M/IOT, and VoLTE network; network log capture and log analysis using the Netscout, Wireshark tools. own and possess a complete end to end understanding of wireless architecture and device interaction (capturing QXDM logs and analysis in QCAT); create and conduct test plans, participate in testing and troubleshooting efforts, and generate training documentation for other organizations; understand network technologies so that the proposed new features/capabilities can be integrated into existing network/solutions; lead the effort to design, deploy, and optimize advanced roaming analytics solutions which provide subscribers/customers with an optimal experience when traveling abroad; perform vendor management and analyze various technical solutions to make a recommendation that has both technical and financial advantages; identify the test scenarios and test case development for platform bring up on different networks provide engineering services and project management functions required to develop and implement complex network plans; and Validate the roaming partner connectivity prior to launch and troubleshoot and fix if any issues observed. Specific Skills Requirement - must have educational or professional experience in: Experience (1) Design experience using GSM, UMTS, LTE, IMS, M2M/IOT, VoLTE Network technologies, or comparable technologies. Experience (2) Experience engaging in device log capture and analysis using QXDM, QCAT, or comparable tools and managing the results on the HP ALM Quality Centre. Experience (3) Experience engaging in network log capture and analysis using the Wireshark, Netscout, or comparable tools. Experience (4) Experience with mobile device and network test simulation using R&S CMW 500, CMW 200, Agilent, or comparable tools. Experience (5) Experience with field testing for Android, IOS, and Single/dual SIM modem chipsets on 2G, 3G, 4G and VOLTE Networks. Experience (6) Experience with Network Configuration for Roaming Partners on GSM, UMTS, LTE, VOLTE, IMS, IoT, or comparable technologies. Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
