Amazon Program Manager II, North America Customer Delivery Experience in Bellevue, Washington

Description

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager to join our North American Transportation team. This role provides the opportunity for broad exposure to various business, financial, and technical teams within Amazon.

The person in this role will be responsible for driving performance improvement in key customer facing metrics for our Fulfillment Center network, including execution of planned ship volume, on-time processing performance, and factors that enable access to faster promises for customers in the US region.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead the PMO Business Operations vertical, optimizing processes for the CDE Special Programs team and broader CDE team.

  • Manage high-visibility operational reporting to senior leadership, influencing company-wide transportation delivery strategies and contributing to improvements in customer delivery performance metrics across business lines.

  • Manage delivery performance metric organization for leadership, orchestrating weekly and monthly metric consolidation, producing insightful reports for business reviews, and monitoring DEA improvement trends across weekly, monthly, and yearly timeframes.

  • Collaborate on 3P carrier concessions projects, supporting carrier relations, project tracking, deliverable management, and cost savings.

  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies across team verticals, enhancing overall performance and customer experience.

  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives within CDE, fostering collaboration across various nodes of the supply chain

About the team

The Customer Delivery Excellence (CDE) team is part of Transportation Execution, composed by program management professionals, data-scientists and business intelligence engineers. The team leverages data and defect anecdotes to continually raise the bar on fulfillment and delivery service performance at Amazon. CDE implements governance policies across teams and key performance indicators incorporating the cost of customer facing delays to ensure that business decisions from technology, fulfillment and transportation results in world class on-time execution of Amazon’s supply chain. Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment

  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization

  • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and use good judgment when working in stressful and ambiguous situations

  • Proven experience influencing internal and external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes and initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
