In some cases, a principal software engineer can be an expert on a single very complex area. In such cases principal software engineers are domain experts, who have built their expertise in that domain over many years. Telecommuting Permitted. $232,000 to $362,000 / year The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
