Pennsylvania State Job Bank Custodian - 1st Shift in BELLEFONTE, Pennsylvania
Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for the 1st Shift Custodian position at an Elementary School.
This position provides and maintains a safe, secure, clean and healthy environment for the students, staff, and community. In addition, the custodian keeps the district's school buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program and everyday work flow.
Qualifications:
Academic: Minimum -- High School Diploma.
Experience: One year of work related experience is required.
Other Skills: Ability to operate and use various custodial, maintenance and ground
care equipment and products including Forklifts. Ability to read basic
operating instructions and safety labels. Effective communication
skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide large numbers,
fractions, and decimals.
Work Day: 6:30 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. (1/2 hr. lunch)
Work Year: 12 months
Level: D -- Minimum Pay Rate (2025-2026 SY)
