Insight Global Process Controls Engineer in Belle Chasse, Louisiana
Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a process controls engineer for a large oil and gas company. The process controls engineer will sit onsite at a refinery plant to execute and support different projects on the plant. The project requirements would most likely last from 12-18 months. This person will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining process control systems within the plant. This role involves working with distributed control systems (DCS), process control networks (PCN), and programmable logic controllers (PLC). The ideal candidate will have experience with PLCs, project execution, and strong collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical or chemical engineering
3-5 years of experience in process controls engineering
Application Experience:
DCSs (Honeywell, Experion)
Batch programming (S88 standards)
PLCs (Allen Bradley, Control Logix)
Field instrumentation knowledge - Prior oil and gas, refinery, manufacturing or plant experience null
