Currently we are seeking Senior Sales Engineer Electrical Whole Sellers. For the role you need to be located in Zagreb, Croatia.

What you’ll do:

The primary function of the Sales Engineer – Electrical Whole Sellers is to generate growth in revenue by selling assigned product lines to targeted customers in targeted market segments and designated territory. The position is responsible to optimize sales volume, product mix and profit margin, while increasing sales in the marketplace.

The Position is responsible to manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance, and creating strong sales pipeline.

• Responsible for achieving annual sales targets and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or account. Types of accounts include EWS/Distributors and their partners.

• Responsible for securing and maintaining the network of distribution of products and maintaining effective agreements having as a focus the wholesales partners and their partners. The types of products include but not limited to: low voltage components, emergency lightning, UPS, etc.

• Provides a high level of support to the customer base with a high focus on business growth.

• Initiates and builds relationships with key customers to enhance long term business prospects.

• Creates and delivers sales presentation, prepares and offers sales solutions based on customer needs and requirements, negotiates contracts.

• Ensures that customers fulfill their obligations by the Distribution Agreements, controls customers financial discipline and payments;

• Provides timely and accurate information for order entry, while elevating quality issues to attention of responsible colleagues.

• Trains customers on Eaton operational processes which directly relate to customers’ activity, such as rules for order entry, Ethics and compliance, delivery terms and conditions as per contracts’ terms, etc.

• Supports the assigned accounts to penetrate new accounts (resellers, end user, etc.). Builds relations with the key Tier 2 partners in order to create pull effect.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing team assignments as needed, reporting to and working closely with the Sales Leader and internal teams.

• Participates at marketing and other promotional events for/with partners to ensure Eaton awareness and brand promotion.

• Cooperates with other internal sales teams working in different segments to create synergy sales between product lines and segments.

• Reviews and reports regularly to the Sales Leader on sales activity and performance to plans; sustains the established sales operational processes, e.g. CRM, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

  • Proven track record of achieving success and work experience in sales field 3+years.

  • Extended knowledge of Electrical market of the country.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation skills, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to independently plan and execute presentations on specific products in order to gain recognition and customer acceptance of products and services.

  • Ability to influence decision making of key stakeholders.

  • Demonstrates initiative, creative and analytical thinking, creative approach to problem solving.

  • Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

  • Must be able to utilize time effectively and handle multiple tasks at one time. Can prioritize work to get the most important things done first. Is more proactive than reactive
