Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Description:

The Lead Program Integrator is responsible for driving New Product Introduction program execution for a product. The LPI develops the Integrated Program Plan and ensures that the necessary resources are applied and delivering to plan. In addition the LPI works with a small to mid-sized cross-functional team to ensure product manufacturability, serviceability, safety and quality.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring that the product development process abides to the business Engineering Quality Procedures, Phased Review Discipline and regulatory needs of the applicable markets

  • Working with the system, subsystem/platform and service leadership teams to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with the necessary features

  • Planning resources and materials for timely NPI program execution

  • Working with the functional engineering leadership team to grow functional and domain expertise within the team

Specific Goals:

Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Control FDRs and NPI program milestones Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives Strong sense as project leader. Aggressively leading cross function team to achieve business target on execution level, following high level priority and strategy. Well manage and balance program resources and budget , along with program goal. Following up program events as Program schedule, ensure the task planned “on schedule”. Trouble shooting with cross function team organized. Creatively find the “optimal solution” with result-oriented.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent Experience in project leadership within a manufacturing, development or research environment Demonstrated ability to build lasting cross-functional relationships, including strong influential and communication skills Demonstrated understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters/Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) Demonstrated experience with NPI, ISO and regulatory compliance process, design history file and collaterals are in place and current Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program Knowledge of GE Healthcare engineering tools and processes (EQPM, ePDM) Attention to detail and ability work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments Ability to develop unique concepts/solutions for complex products
