BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our outstanding and compassionate team in Dade City!
Facility: BayCare Behavioral Health
Location: Dade City, FL
Status: Full time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00AM - 6:00PM / Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Weekend Work: None
On Call: No
The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for:
Responsible to provide basic patient care assistance to the physicians and ARNPs
Records and documents vital signs, patient weight and height
Performs non-intravenous injections
Assists with treatment plans, treatment plane reviews, outcomes, medication authorization overrides, follow-ups and referrals
Obtains information required for meaningful use.
Conducts face to face visits, handles medical service related telephone calls
Monitors and maintains inventory and equipment
Performs other duties as assigned

Required Certification/Licensures:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) -
FL Driver's License
Required Education:
- High School or Equivalent
Preferred Experience:
- 1 year – Behavioral Health
