Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Bedford, New Hampshire
Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to become a part of our dynamic team in Bedford, New Hampshire, United States. In this role, you will primarily focus on managing our accounts payable processes, assisting with payroll procedures, and maintaining vendor records. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of vendor invoices, aligning them with corresponding purchase orders
• Schedule payments in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures
• Maintain comprehensive vendor records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate
• Conduct regular reconciliation of transactions and generate informative reports
• Provide assistance in managing payroll data, including inputting and verifying details such as hours worked, salaries, and deductions
• Actively participate in payroll processing, calculating and applying appropriate taxes and deductions
• Issue payments as per established payroll schedules and procedures
• Reconcile payroll accounts periodically and prepare necessary compliance and audit reports
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and account reconciliation tasks
• Ensure all processes are conducted with a high level of attention to detail, adhering to AP and payroll processes. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position
• Proficient in accounts payable and account reconciliation processes
• Demonstrated experience in executing check runs
• Skilled in data entry with high level of accuracy
• Experience in processing invoices efficiently and effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and functions
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field would be advantageous.
