Nike Senior Graphic Designer, Men's Print & Pattern in Beaverton, Oregon

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The Senior Print & Pattern Designer will be responsible for creating original and trend-right designs for our apparel, footwear, and accessories products. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of color and composition, and the ability to translate design concepts into commercially viable sport right patterns. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of current trends and a passion for staying ahead in the design industry.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will develop and create original print and pattern designs for a variety of products by researching and analyzing current market trends, colors, and patterns to inform your design concepts. You will prepare detailed design specifications and technical repeats for production by using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create and modify patterns. This role will involve managing multiple design projects simultaneously to meet specified deadlines and participating in design reviews to provide constructive feedback to team members.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

In this role you will collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are aligned with brand vision and product requirements. In addition to collaborating within Design, we have a close working relationship with development, color, and larger brand moments. As a Senior Designer you will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Men's Print & Pattern while working and collaborating closely with the broader Men’s graphic design, apparel design, footwear design, and others.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience and training.

  • 5+ years of experience in print and pattern design, preferably within [specific industry, e.g., fashion, home decor].

  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of print and pattern designs.

  • Excellent understanding of color theory, pattern repeat techniques, and textile processes.

  • Strong creative and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
