Nike Lead Product Line Manager, Global Apparel Womens Collections in Beaverton, Oregon
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will report to the Product Sr. Director for Women’s Sportswear Apparel and will work closely with the Senior Product Line Managers, Product Line Manager II, and other Product Line Managers who work on the Women’s Apparel business. In addition to working with your triad partners to bring product to life, you will work with Design, Development, Materials/Trims teams, Brand, Planning, Sourcing, Merchandising, and Finance along the product journey.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Lead Product Line Manager for our Women’s Sportswear business. This individual needs to have a proven ability to work cross functionally to architect and execute seasonal assortments, create market-defining products, and build break-through product strategies to grow the Nike Women’s Sportswear Apparel business. In this fast paced and dynamic role, you will need to be comfortable managing competing priorities while embracing the volatility which can come with working in a highly matrixed organization while leading high-visibility projects.
In this role, this individual will partner with our Senior Product Line Manager and Product Line Manager II to drive all facets of the Women’s Sportswear product creation process. This individual will lead a cross functional team, bringing excellent communication skills, strong strategic competence, and creative problem-solving to this entrepreneurial role.
We are seeking someone with a strong product acumen and a deep understanding of marketplace trends. This individual must be adept at analysing market data, recognizing emerging trends, and translating them into innovative women's product opportunities that resonate with our consumers. Their ability to stay ahead of industry shifts and consumer preferences will be crucial in driving the success of our product lines.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
Strong product creation, consumer and business acumen
Familiarity with the marketplace and key competitors
Excellent taste level and intuition for premium performance product
Creativity and passion for product, fashion, color and style
Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will be working daily with our design, development, brand and merchandising teams to create compelling collection stories seasonally. You will be a leader on the team, keeping projects on task and communicating regularly to both internal and external partners. You will collaborate with team members to develop line plans, create and implement new product strategies, and track overall progress and delivery of high-profile apparel product lines.
You will work closely with your triad team each week to deliver on product creation calendar milestones, including product briefs, athlete and leadership feedback, design reviews, merchandising plan, and marketplace distribution for multiple projects.
You'll build positive and trustworthy relationships with your partners to build and land the line plans and seasonal assortments that meet the needs of consumers and take them to a new place.
