The Insights Senior Analyst, Last Mile Transportation is part of the Capacity, Performance, and Planning (CPP) team within North America Trade & Transportation’s team. This role is essential to ensuring that North America Transportation leverages analytics to optimize marketplace service and efficiency and supports Nike’s Supply Chain and Marketplace Strategy. The Senior Analyst partners closely with other NA Trade & Transportation (T&T) teams to provide visibility to key operational metrics, supports sourcing events and works closely with supply chain capability development organization and cross-functional peers.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
This role is responsible for analyzing and extracting insights from last mile transportation data including transactional data, shipping costs, and forecasting. Some examples of what you’ll work on include:
Maintain centralized Transportation-related data consumption and reporting layers, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide them with reliable and well-structured data
Drive analysis of financial and operational performance data to identify key insights and opportunities to improve the end-to-end transportation network leveraging analytical modeling and predictive analytics
Report business key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior leadership and partner with the stakeholders to deliver relevant analysis and insights.
Provide data-driven insights to support business operations, including detailed spend forecasting, volume/spend analytics, and vendor selection/allocation recommendations
Coordinate and lead large analytical projects with firm deadlines; conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic discussions with key internal and external partners; and support capability development to drive business growth and performance across business segments and stakeholders
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
Descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics experience with complex, unrefined data using a variety of analytical and statistical toolsets, examples include SQL, Python, Alteryx, R, or other data manipulation/mining tools
Expertise in data cleaning, transformation, and integration processes, ensuring that data is structured appropriately and ready for analysis.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis to pinpoint variances, and recommend solutions to avoid variances in the future
Demonstrated experience simplifying complex analytics to explain difficult concepts and garner cross-functional buy in
5+ years of progressive analytics experience in the field of logistics
5+ years of experience with SQL, 4+ years of experience in Python, 2+ years of experience in Databricks, 4+ years of experience in Tableau
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Last Mile Transportation
1+ year of Airtable experience
Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies with a track record of successfully delivering projects in iterative and collaborative environments
Consulting or Finance experience is preferred
