Job Description
The SPOC (Security Point of Contact) plays a critical role in development for planning and managing the security compliance activities. The SPOC provides an oversight and leadership role for security assurance, leveraging the technical expertise and project management skills of other team members to accomplish security tasks. The SPOC works closely with the Security Lead, development and project management to define the appropriate methodology to support Oracle Software Security Assurance (OSSA) compliance within the organization.

Responsibilities
We are responsible for:
Presenting, implementing, tracking and managing OSSA programs, processes and processes and policies.
Motivating the organization to adhere to security assurance practices throughout the development life-cycle.
Mentoring and guiding security engineers on appropriate security assurance practices.
Participating in design reviews.
Ensuring that root cause analysis of security issues is done, guiding the development of security solutions for problems across multiple products.
Ensuring threat modeling is performed to reduce security weaknesses at the design stage before coding begins.
Providing direction for the use of static analysis tools across the products as required for OSSA compliance.
Evaluating dynamic analysis, fuzzing and specialized security tools and providing guidance for effective use.
Preferred Qualifications
Over 10 years of experiences in information security industry
3 years of Java and/or C## /.NET software development
Extensive experiences with security code reviews
Extensive experiences with static analysis tools such as Fortify and Veracode
Extensive experiences with dynamic testing tools such as ZAP and Burp
Extensive experiences with threat modeling techniques and tools
In depth knowledge of application security techniques
Expertise in encryption and key management techniques, deployment methodologies and security standards
Expertise in operating systems, database and network security

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
