Patten CAT Assembler-Power Systems in Bartonville, Illinois
Working Hours/Days
Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Basic Duties
Assemble steel enclosures using shop tools, basic wiring, and material handling.
Read engineering drawings.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of engineering drawings preferred.
Previous experience using hand tools and various shop tools needed.
Must be productive, dependable and have a desire to learn.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
Must provide own tools.
Ability to lift 75lbs, climb ladders and stairs on a daily basis.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
This position works in a shop environment with some outside exposure. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75lbs. The wearing of approved safety equipment ( i.e. safety glasses with side shields and steel toe footwear) is required. Noise level is usually moderate to high. May intermittently sit at a desk to answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
