Electronic Field Calibration Technician

Well established materials testing and inspection service organization in the Bartlett, TN area is seeking an Electronic/RF Field Calibration Technician for a full time position. Candidate will be responsible for the field service calibration of electronic and mechanical measuring test equipment in the southeast area.

Job Description:

Candidate will be required to travel on-site to calibrate a variety of test and measurement equipment. Candidate will work with other technicians on the team or may work on projects by themselves. Candidate should be a self starter and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and well as computer skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

· Calibration of electronic and mechanical measuring and test equipment

· AC/DC Low Voltage (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, voltage calibrators etc.)

· Temperature & Humidity devices (data loggers, hygrometer, environmental chambers, ovens)

· High Voltage Generating and Measuring equipment (Hipot tester, Meggers, Insulation testers)

· Torque Wrench and Torque Transducer Calibration

· Pressure Gages and Pressure Transducers Calibration

· Basic mechanical and physical dimensional calibrations

· Update calibration software with calibration certificates and results of calibrations

· Set Monthly Calibration plans for scheduling and calibration.

· Provide quotes for new tools and equipment upon request and register into system after calibration.

· Provide and present weekly update equipment status reports.

· Coordinate with 3rd party service provider if ATS Service is not available for certain tools or equipment.

Requirements:

· Candidate must have previous experience in electronic and mechanical equipment calibration.

· Commercial or Military experience will be considered.

· Position will require residency within commuting distance of Tupelo, MS.

· Position will require up to 10% travel for field work and training.

· Candidate shall be able to work 40 plus hours per week to meet customer demands and schedule. Overtime and occasional weekend work required.

· Candidate shall be able to lift 60 pounds.

· Candidate shall have a clean driving record, background check, and drug screen.

· Candidate shall provide their own cell phone with data plan for connection to ATS email and multi-factor authentication.

· Candidate will have suitable vehicle for travel to and from Bartlett TN office with mileage reimbursement.
