JOB POSITION: DRAFTING/PROJECT SUPPORT/ESTIMATING
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
Review architectural drawings and isolate the building stone components of a project and prepare takeoffs. Line-check drawings for accuracy.
Provide a complete set of takeoffs for review by lead estimator.
Prepare complete and accurate shop drawing and shop cards from final design plans for submittal to the plant for manufacturing.
Prepare templates for use in fabrication of individual stone units or assemblies.
Work with production team to make adjustments, revisions or changes that are necessary or requested by the customer.
SKILL SET/ADAPTATION:
The position requires AutoCAD proficiency; ability to interpret architectural drawings; strong organizational skills; ability to multitask and manage changes in priorities; independent problem solving skills and attention to detail; dimensional visualization and critical thinking. Ability to communicate and to relate to others on a professional level.
SALARY:
\$23.00 - \$25.00
