Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for assisting with reactionary maintenance, proactive maintenance, and the installation of new equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and troubleshooting various types of equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance on injection molding machines
Conduct conveyor maintenance, repair, and complete belt replacements
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, hoses, and clamps
Use ladder logic to debug PLCs
Repair and maintain 6-axis robotics (experience with this amount of axis is a plus)
Follow LOTO procedures
Conduct electrical maintenance including working with 480V systems, schematic reading, rewiring, and pulling wire
Maintain pneumatic systems by replacing filters, checking for leaks, repairing/replacing cylinders, lubricating seals, and replacing seals
Service chiller systems and air dryer systems
Perform welding and fabrication as needed
Essential Skills
Maintenance or Electrical Degree with 3-4 years of experience
Experience in mechanical systems including hydraulics and pneumatics
Proficiency in electrical systems, specifically 480V
Experience with PLC troubleshooting
Robotics maintenance experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Plastics experience is advantageous but not required
Experience with Allen-Bradley systems
Preventive maintenance skills

Work Environment
This role operates on a night shift schedule (2-2-3) from 7pm to 7am. The work environment is hot, loud, and non-climate controlled, with a hot plastic smell that can be a deterrent for some. The dress code includes t-shirts, hoodies without strings, sweatshirts, sleeveless tops, jeans, shorts, cargo pants, basketball shorts, and sweatpants. Closed-toe shoes with rubber soles are required. Jewelry should be minimal and non-dangling, and tattoos and hair color are acceptable as long as they are not offensive.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bardstown, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr.
