Job Title: Machinist
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate CNC horizontal or vertical boring mills. Responsibilities include utilizing right angle attachments, operating on 5 axis or 7 axis setups, grinding tools and materials, writing minor programs with G&M coded commands, and operating overhead cranes and forklifts as needed. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position near Akron, Ohio.
Work Environment
Flexible work shifts with priority given based on seniority. Shifts include 1st (7:30a - 3:30p), 2nd (3:30p - 11:30p), 3rd (11:30p - 7:30a), and weekend (Fri and Sat 11p - 11a, plus 8 hours on Mon). Training occurs Mon-Fri. The role guarantees 40 hours weekly with limited mandatory overtime. Compensation ranges from $34-$36/hr depending on shift and machine, non-negotiable. The environment is very clean and climate controlled.
