As an HR Associate, you'll be the go-to person for phone calls and emails, supporting our HR department's daily operations. Guided by the HR Director, you'll engage with employees at all levels, making each day a new adventure.

You're not just handling paperwork; you're the welcoming face for new hires, maintaining HR files, and answering questions with finesse. Your role is crucial in ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

You will be working your magic on a full-time year-round basis, in our HR office, located in Bar Harbor, Maine. Your schedule will mostly be Monday to Friday, and we are flexible. The starting wage is $20 per hour.

Essential Duties

  • Navigate calls, emails, and clerical tasks with finesse.

  • Conduct or assist with new hire orientation sessions and onboarding.

  • Safeguard the integrity of HR files and records.

  • Be the reliable resource for employee questions, referring complex matters.

  • Assist in maintaining the communication platform database and crafting engaging content.

  • Weave magic with the Microsoft Office Suite for document preparation.

  • Provide a stellar customer service experience.

  • Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Prior related office and HR experience preferred. We will train the right candidate.
