Shift/Duration: This is a contract assignment

What’s a typical day as an HR Generalist? You’ll be:

• Providing professional Human Resources support in areas such as employee relations, compensation, benefits, HR policies and procedures, training and development, performance management, HRIS, HR metrics reporting, regulatory compliance, employee activities, immigration, leaves of absence, and records management.

• Supporting the design, improvement, and administration of HR processes and programs to achieve desired results while managing costs and ensuring high-quality goals and standards.

• Acting as a lead in a specific HR function depending on operational need, providing specialized knowledge and service to the HR group and their customers.

• Communicating effectively with a diverse group of vendors, customers, colleagues, and senior management.

• Drafting documentation and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and practices.

• Providing administrative direction and counsel regarding the interpretation of policies, practices, and procedures.

• Supporting other areas of HR where creativity and a comprehensive understanding of human resources practices and Laboratory culture are essential.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

• Have at least 3 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on employee relations, compensation, benefits, and HR policies and procedures.

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Have a strong understanding of HR best practices and compliance requirements.

• Are proficient in HRIS and other HR software.

• Have the ability to handle multiple demands, shifting priorities, and ambiguity.

• Are a proactive problem solver with a customer-focused mindset.
