We are looking for front-end engineers to help contribute to our professional developer website building platform. We are early in our journey to innovate on Power Pages product, integrate with other Power products (PBI, PVA, etc.) and shape it into a thriving standalone customer-facing business to drive incremental revenue and value for Power Platform.

There is an exciting opportunity to join the Power Pages team, building a new version of the product that helps citizen makers and professional developers build compelling web experiences! We incorporate user research studies and customer feedback into the Product Backlog daily and you will be working closely with your peers, the Design team and PM counterparts to make these real.

Power Platform is a strategic new growth area for Microsoft, but more importantly, it is a disruptor technology that is giving “Citizen access” to broader set of users in an enterprise, to create next generation of business productivity software via radically simplified experience and without requiring extensive and costly training. It is transforming careers of ‘citizen developers’ and making pro-developers far more productive and helping IT finally innovate at the pace that their businesses expect. To boost Power Platform to scale to millions of 'citizen developers', we are investing in Power Pages – an early emergent-stage product within Power Platform suite currently used by customers to enable collaboration with users both internal and external to their organizations.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who would play a key role in building advanced tools for professional developers, enabling them to efficiently develop and manage websites. Your expertise will also extend to enhancing the usability of our platforms for Citizen Developers, ensuring that sophisticated functionalities remain easily accessible. You will lead technical architecture and design products that will help create the next gen of professional developer tools. This role will allow you to continuously update your technical skills in the latest AI-integrated technologies from GitHub and Microsoft and combine your strong technical knowledge and web development skills.

• Innovate and build the next generation of professional developer tools using AI technologies.

• Be part of delivering world class user experience by contributing to its design and evolution.

• Investigate and prototype new technologies and frameworks.

• Have ownership for engineering design, implementation and delivery of backlog driven features.

• Focus on providing a trouble-free experience for users by ensuring availability, latency, scalability needs are addressed as part of software development.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent with8+ years of industry experience.

• 5 years of Experience with building Web Applications with front-end technologies like TypeScript, Angular, React/Redux.

• 3+ years of solid experience in an OO Language like C# or Java.

• Experience in software development and designing front end applications to run at massive scale.

• Good understanding of DevOps.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
