Overview:
In this role engineer will be working on EMI/ EMC and related electrical qualification testing .
Primary Responsibilities:
Experience in electronics product development for harsh environment.
Experience in analog, mixed signal and/or power electronics design.
Hands on experience in design for EMC. Knowledge of EMI filter design for low power and high-power electronics.
Experience in developing Qualification Test Plans. Hands on experience in EMI/ EMC and related electrical qualification testing such as CE, CS, RE, RS, ESD, Indirect lightning strike.
Knowledge of relevant standards for Aerospace (DO-160 / MIL-461) or similar industrial standards.
Knowledge and experience in trouble shooting failures during EMC qualification testing.
Power budgeting, component derating, tolerance analysis, FMEA
Create detailed electrical schematics & develop detailed design description document.
Perform functional and design verification testing.
Excellent problem solving and analytical capabilities.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic Qualifications:
7-10 years of relevant Industry experience in Electronics product development and qualification.
Bachelor /Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Good communication and team building capabilities.
