Microsoft Business Operations serves as the central processing center for Microsoft, handling some of the most critical business functions across the company. We manage thousands of launches, millions of transactions, process billions of dollars in revenue, and protect the company from a multitude of risks—across all regions and all markets.

OSC – Operations Service Centre team support field and partner engagements, regional revenue processing, and the Deploy, Transact, Protect and Optimize phases of our operating model, process support, Customer Lifecycle operations and execution of Microsoft Incentive Operations.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and exceptional customer service. This role plays a critical part in our commitment to delivering high-quality products/services to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and review customer orders via various channels (phone, email, online platforms).

  • Verify order accuracy, pricing, and availability of products/services.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, warehouse, and logistics, to ensure timely order fulfilment.

  • Process orders into the company’s order management system- Oracle R12 with precision.

  • Monitor and track order progress, addressing any issues or delays proactively.

  • Communicate order status and updates to customers promptly.

  • Resolve order discrepancies and billing issues professionally and efficiently.

  • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer support.

  • Maintain accurate and organized order records and documentation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve order management processes.

  • Continuously strive to enhance customer satisfaction through order management excellence.

  • Willingness to work in Eastern Standard Time ( EST) - (5.30 pm – 2.30 am IST )

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree of Commerce, Business Admin or related AND experience in order management, customer service, or a relevantfield with at least 3+ year of experience.

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in order management software - Oracle 12 or other version.

  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
