Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Account & Billing Support Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, excellent attention to detail, strong analytical & problem-solving skills, a strong commitment to accuracy & efficiency and the ability to manage a team.

Responsibilities

  • Train & Manage a team of account & billing specialists and provide support as needed

  • Manage performance levels through robust KPI's and SLA's to ensure service levels

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and review work of the team to ensure accuracy, resolving inconsistencies as needed

  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Review and analyse billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, sales, Accounts Receivable to ensure smooth and efficient business operations

  • Respond to account & billing inquiries and resolve issues as needed

  • Prepare and present reports to senior management.

  • Provide customer support to customers with disputes or inquiries concerning their cloud account, invoices or billing process

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Familiarity with billing software and systems

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • People Management Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • A minimum of 7 years of proven work experience as a Cloud Account & Billing or similar role with at least 3 years in a management role.

  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition standards and billing compliance requirements.

  • Understanding of Cloud Environment
