Summary of Position

This position will be responsible for all solutions within the Iron Mountain Incentive Compensation Management / ICM system (Varicent) or involving data migrations, systems integrations and 3rd party applications. The Varicent Consultant position will work closely with the Varicent technical team and Sales Compensation team within Sales Operations to develop solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct workshops to understand user requirements and deliver the documentation as part of discover and design phases

  • Design Varicent system architecture

  • Build/test/deploy Varicent components including reports and integrations

  • Define, communicate, and manage a change management process to develop and implement new code and updates to existing code.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

  • Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions

  • Optimize performance and ensure the reliability and scalability of the Varicent application

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Varicent features and best practices

Skills Required

  • Design and build flexible and scalable compensation models using established proven practices

  • Create elegant and accurate reports, workflows, and dashboards in Varicent

  • Work with business users to develop overall testing plans, test cases and scripts

  • Enable your business users to effectively use and maintain their Varicent solution

  • Develop Extract/Transform/Load processes for data preparation

  • Document and communicate project status regularly to the Project Management team

  • Coordinate and communicate with the project manager and project resources

  • Assist business users in making decisions to properly and creatively utilize Varicent features to meet their needs

Beneficial Skills

  • 10+ years of experience with Varicent

  • Xactly, Optymyze, NICE, Callidus Cloud (SAP)

  • Required Skills: Varicent

  • Preferred Skills: PL/SQL, Varicent Workflow, Agile development methodology
