Role: Data Quality Analyst

The Team: The Data Quality Team leverages automation to streamline and enhance data quality processes. They utilize automated tools and technologies to perform data cleansing, validation, and quality checks. Automation helps to reduce manual effort, minimize human errors, and improve efficiency in data quality management. By implementing automation, the team can ensure consistent and reliable data quality across various systems and datasets. This approach allows for faster identification and resolution of data quality issues, enabling the team to focus on more strategic initiatives and value-added tasks.

Responsibilities and Impact:

A Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data. Here are the responsibilities :

  • Analyze data sets to identify data quality issues and develop strategies to improve accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data quality standards and create data quality rules to ensure data integrity.

  • Implement data cleansing and validation processes to enhance data quality and reliability.

  • Monitor data quality metrics and perform regular data audits to identify areas for improvement.

  • Provide recommendations and insights to stakeholders on data quality improvements and best practices.

  • Opportunity for growth and development through exposure to policy makers, market leaders, and global nature of the role, allowing for a broader understanding of data management practices and industry trends.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science

  • 2 -3 years of experience as a Data Quality Analyst

  • Proficiency in data analysis and data management tools such as SQL, Excel, and Python

  • Strong understanding of data quality principles and experience in implementing data quality processes

  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality standards

Key soft skills required for a Data Quality Analyst:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
