Nielsen Advertising Compliance Specialist (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese) in Bangalore, India

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is required to fulfil our client compliance contract. The purpose of the role is to ensure that client partner advertising is assessed for compliance against marketing programme rules and guidelines, according to high standards of accuracy and turnaround times in line with client SLAs.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform compliance checks on global Print, Broadcast and Digital marketing activities, using bespoke in-house applications.

  • Assess marketing activities against a complex set of programme rules and requirements, using judgement to apply the rules in line with the client’s overall marketing strategy.

  • Navigate client marketing resources to locate assets and guidelines necessary to complete reviews.

  • Review marketing activities in own language(s) and assist the team with reviews in other languages where necessary.

  • Perform searches on client partner websites, applying a set of criteria to identify relevant web pages for audit.

  • Capture relevant client partner web pages for audit using bespoke in-house tools.

  • Validate client partner funding claims using client’s proprietary systems.

  • Assess partner funding claims for accuracy and relevance, including checking invoices.

  • Complete all work in an accurate and timely manner, in line with Service Level Agreements.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client requirements and keep track of frequent changes to guidance.

  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with colleagues to ensure accuracy and consistency of reviews.

  • Take responsibility for consistency of reviews for certain client partner companies and act as a champion for those partners’ marketing activities, providing support and advice where appropriate.

  • Help to train and support colleagues.

  • Meet company and department objectives and standards.

  • Ensure all company policies, procedures and processes are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Preferably Bachelor's Degree

  • Must be able to speak, read & write in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese

  • Ability to provide accurate reviews under pressure and according to tight timelines.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Problem solving and strong decision making skills.

  • Flexibility to adapt to ever-changing business needs.

  • Good collaboration and communication skills.

  • Prioritising and managing own workload effectively.

  • Ability to work alone and also as part of a team.

  • High standard of written and spoken English.

  • Good keyboard skills, competent in Google, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office.

  • The role requires to support different timezone, hence the working hours will from 12.30 PM IST - 8.30 PM IST (Mondays - Fridays)
