The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) owns, operates, and maintains eight major toll facilities comprised of four bridges, two tunnels, and two turnpikes, across the State of Maryland. Nature of Work:The Maximo Analyst will facilitate the installation of the MDTAs Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), known as Maximo, at all of the MDTAs maintenance facilities, procurement office, finance office, and headquarters. They will train system users on proper use and techniques for the efficient use of the database and will train users on new procedures as they are implemented. Duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Design, develop, and implement an inventory locator system at each facility;
- Design, develop, and implement database reports that assist managers, supervisors, and procurement personnel in their daily decision-making processes;
- Monitor database activity to ensure the data is entered correctly and efficiently; and
- Maintain security and integrity of the data by specifying access policies to ensure compliance with laws, codes, standards, and policies as set forth by the MDTA.
The incumbent in this position will report directly to theMaximo Systems Administrator.The current vacancy for this position is inBaltimore, Maryland, in the Asset Management and Support Services Unit. The eligible list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies at other facilities throughout the MDTA. Hybrid telework schedules may be available for this position.
