Job Title: Federal Construction Superintendent
Job Description
We are seeking a Superintendent to oversee a large lab renovation project at the National Institute of Health's Bethesda campus. The project involves the interior renovation of an existing lab space. The Superintendent will manage the day-to-day operational aspects of federal construction projects, review the scope of work, engage subcontractors, and coordinate site visits for subcontractors to bid on the work. Additionally, the role involves estimating and bidding task order contracts and IDIQs, as well as project scheduling, including subcontractor management.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of federal construction projects
Review the scope of work and align subcontractors
Coordinate site visits for subcontractors to bid on the work
Estimate and bid task order contracts and IDIQs
Schedule projects, including managing subcontractors
Provide project management and supervision to federal government construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region
Essential Skills
Project management
Construction management
Change order management
5+ years of construction experience, preferably on federal government projects
EM385-1-1 OSHA30 certification
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous lab experience is highly preferred
Computer savvy (MS Office, Excel, etc.)
A mature professional with excellent organizational and communication skills
Construction field experience
QCM certification is a bonus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $135000.00
