Johns Hopkins University BME Open Search Tenure-Track Faculty in Baltimore, Maryland

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in all areas of BME including Computational Medicine, Genomics & Systems Biology, Imaging and Medical Devices, Immunoengineering, Neuroengineering, and Translational Cell & Tissue Engineering. Outstanding candidates at the assistant professor rank will be considered. Applications may include basic and translational sciences.

Successful candidates are expected to perform experimental and/or computational biomedical research. Opportunities for interactions across the University include numerous departments, centers and institutes. Biomedical Engineering is part of both the School of Medicine and the Whiting School of Engineering, enabling deep clinical collaborations. Our graduate programs have been consistently ranked #1 in the country by US News and World Report.

The Department is conducting a broad and inclusive search and seeks to identify candidates who will contribute to the diversity and excellence of our academic community. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field, and will be expected to establish a strong, independent, multidisciplinary, and internationally recognized research program. Commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels is required.
