Description
We are offering an opportunity in Baltimore, Maryland for an Accounts Receivable Clerk. The role involves handling expense reimbursements, refunds, and data entry tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization of our file room, as well as reviewing our AP email for any refunds or expense reimbursements that need processing. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Review and process all expense reimbursements and refunds in a timely and accurate manner
• Upload all transmittals into the accounting system for receipt from the department as well as for payment distribution
• Manage the filing and organizing of the file room ensuring easy access and retrieval of files
• Monitor the AP email for refunds or expense reimbursements that need to be processed and take appropriate action
• Review account folders regularly to ensure all information is up to date
• Follow up with insurance carriers as needed to resolve any issues or discrepancies
• Follow up on payments and collections to ensure timely receipt of funds
• Maintain detailed oriented work habits, ensuring accuracy in all work performed
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, for various tasks.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounts Receivable role
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in data entry tasks with a keen attention to detail
• Experience in commercial collections
• Ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently
• Skilled in using Microsoft Word for document creation and editing
