Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry, based in Bakersfield, California. In this role, you will be interacting with the public, handling money, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. This position is ideal for individuals who are computer literate and have a knack for customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Handle money transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Deal with the general public and provide excellent customer service.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for various tasks.
• Maintain business casual attire and adhere to safety regulations regarding footwear.
• Conduct credit and background checks for customers.
• Use basic office skills to keep track of all transactions and interactions.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all data entry tasks.
• Be prepared to work from Monday to Friday, and occasionally on Saturdays.
• Use your outgoing personality to create a positive experience for every customer. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
• Possess basic office skills
• Ability to accurately enter and manage data
• Experience in the waste, refuse, and environmental waste management industry will be a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good time management skills to meet deadlines
• High level of integrity and confidentiality with sensitive information.
