Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Bakersfield, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Financial Services industry in Bakersfield, California. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison for customer inquiries and concerns related to their insurance policies and will be tasked with ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to high volume of inbound and outbound calls from personal lines clients

• Gather customer information for data entry into organizational systems

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for customer service and administrative tasks

• Manage and schedule appointments for clients as required

• Maintain a high level of knowledge about Property Casualty Insurance and Personal Insurance

• Ensure all customer queries are answered with accuracy and timeliness

• Conduct email correspondence with clients and internal team members

• Resolve client concerns and issues, ensuring customer satisfaction

• Maintain a professional demeanor while providing excellent customer service. Requirements • Proficient in answering inbound calls and managing both inbound and outbound calls.

• Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer queries and complaints effectively.

• Solid experience in data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Expertise in email correspondence, with strong written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for creating reports and managing data.

• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and manage customer bookings.

• Knowledge of property casualty insurance and personal insurance, preferably within the financial services industry.

• The ability to work as part of a team and independently, maintaining professionalism at all times.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with customers.

• Willingness to continue learning and improving skills within the financial services industry.

• Adherence to all company policies and regulations.
