Dow has a great opportunity asSenior Quality Specialistbased inBahia Blanca(ARG).The position will lead and execute all aspects of the quality program within TES across multiple departments (Maintenance, Engineering, constructions, reliability) to enable TEs to meet all quality and regulatory requirements related to the quality management system and related TES quality strategies.
Provides training, coaching, and overall guidance to enhance front line knowledge and accountability for quality across key roles. Promotes and enables a quality-focused culture across multiple TES activities with complex interfaces and/or requirements. Requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and broadens capabilities.
Responsibilities
Leads implementation and maintenance of TES quality programs which align to the TES Global Quality Strategy at the Site level.
Provides an effective interface between contractors and TES to ensure consistent high quality TES jobs.
Acts as key interface to build or enhance cross-functional relationships across multiple sites or within a complex system, services and flow of information between the Site and, vendors, contractors, Purchasing, MRO, related to job quality/regulatory requirements related to the quality management system.
Continually improves effectiveness of the quality management system and demonstrates influential leadership in the execution of improvement opportunities.
Generates and uses quality data to drive job quality improvements.
Leads TES management of change activities related to job quality.
Ensures Operating Discipline system, procedures and guidelines meet quality system requirements, as appropriate and serves as element focal point for the quality requirements of the Operating Discipline Management System.
Trains and provides guidance to TES and other roles that impact Job quality and the use of supporting quality tools and processes to achieve TES and businesses goals.
Identifies and leads quality improvement opportunities and problem-solving efforts at the Site level, as determined through data analysis, NCR and rework analysis, continual improvement projects, and other quality-related programs.
Establishes and leads TES quality system audit program and conducts internal and third-party audits, leveraging findings to drive continual improvement.
Coordinate the TES Site Quality Team in daily and T/As.
Act as focal point for vendor inspections.
Participates on regional and global quality networks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus demonstrated quality related expertise in Maintenance and engineering.
Advanced in English language skills.
ISO 9000 and other industrial quality standards demonstrated knowledge.
