Duties and responsibilities:
• Acts as back up driver to transport s remotely located employees to/from the farm using supplied company vehicle.
• Operates assigned equipment in a safe and efficient manner to support daily farm activities.
• Field Operations – operate tractors, pruner, forklift, backhoe, harvesters and implements to perform all required field tasks.
• Harvest operations- Raking seed, using hand-held blower, removing branches or brush in rows to facilitate harvest of seed in the field.
• Field Prep (discing, bed shaping, pruning, etc.).
• Troubleshoots equipment issues in field to minimize downtime.
• Completes daily paperwork on field tasks.
• Other field tasks or housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Follows all company safety rules and regulations.
Requirements:
• English speaking/reading
• Valid US Driver’s license
• Farm Labor Experience
• Ability to complete daily documentation/inspections checklists field documentation
