Firmware Engineer – Avon, OH (Hybrid)
Job Description
Support an Embedded Systems Development team consisting of Hardware, Firmware, and Test Engineers throughout the entire product/software life cycle.
Work with the internal team from concept through development, testing, and into manufacturing.
Support presales process; qualifying prospects and developing a strategy to solve customer needs.
Interact with customers throughout contract negotiations and updates on project deadlines.
Plan, schedule, and monitor all engineering operations to ensure compliance.
Embedded firmware development in C/C++ (mostly C, some C++), FreeRTOS
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 5-10+ years of experience as an Embedded Engineer, Hardware Engineer, or a Systems Engineer in an RTOS environment
Embedded systems product development experience
Experience with network communication protocols
1-2+ years of experience working directly with customers defining embedded projects
Summary:
