Job Summary
As an application expert, your mission is to receive and analyze customers'needs so that you can advise them and recommend the most appropriate technical solutions and provide them a complete technical and commercial proposal.
Responsibilities
1- Support the applications service
Initiate subcontracting consultations
Identify potential suppliers
Identify parts manufacturing solutions (Foundry, boilermaking, etc.)
Be able to read BE plans and modify them if necessary
Consolidate the cost elements to determine the cost of an agitator using the internal quotation tool
Ensure regular updating of cost bases and rates
Be the point of contact for the part-costing process
2- Coordination role on the procurement portion of special projects
Intervene in support of the purchasing department on the consultation of manufactured parts (raw materials, machining, mechanical welding, foundry, forge, etc.)
Advise and direct the relevant subcontractors according to the components to be supplied
Participate in technical clarifications with subcontractors to ensure that they understand the needs of the company
3- Exchange with the different entities on cross-functional projects
4- Provide support on manufacturing and industrialization methods for the different product ranges
5- Transmission of knowledge to application engineers
Basic Qualifications and key competencies
Graduate in mechanics/ hydraulics, you have knowledge in fluid mechanics, mechanics of the solid...and also industralisation methods
You have already worked in a context of sizing technical offers for customers in an international environment.
English read, written, spoken required.
