Technology Consulting, Digital and Emerging Technologies - Testing Analyst (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1515937), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Austin, TX.

Provide testing subject matter expertise and solve complex problems for clients from a diverse array of backgrounds and domains. Develop test strategies and execute test plans to identify software problems and their root causes. Apply system analysis techniques and procedures including interviewing various resources to gather required information, analyzing and documenting requirements. Determine software or system functional specifications that allow for the successful development/configuration of select Automation software solutions. Define specifications and develop test cases structured to support systems, functional, integration, automation and performance testing. Write backend scenarios and test data. Digest, incorporate and leverage new knowledge relative to the client(s) Automation software development/configuration needs. Share knowledge and develop engagement tools and enablers to build capability for the practice.  Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field and 5 years of related progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field and 4 years related work experience.

Must have 3 years of professional services and/or consulting experience.

Must have 3 years of experience as a software development engineer in testing (SDET) performing complex end-to-end test automation in an agile team, creating white-box and black-box tests for code as they are delivered by the development team.

Must have 4 years of experience with test automation technologies including Selenium, ReadyAPI (Application Program Interface), Postman, TestComplete and/or Appium.

Must have 2 years of experience in creating test strategy for large n-tier complex digital transformation projects and executing the strategy in collaboration with a large global quality assurance (QA) team.

Must have worked on 1 project with cloud device management systems for real devices, emulators and simulators.

Must have 3 years of experience scheduling scripts in a CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous delivery and continuous deployment) orchestration system, including Jenkins and monitoring tests.

Must have 2 years of experience writing queries and working with at least one or a combination of the following databases: SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle and/or DB2.

Must have 4 years of experience in IT and software quality engineering.

Must have 4 years of experience with one or a combination of the following test management tools: JIRA, HP ALM and/or TestRail.

Must have 2 years of experience leading teams of technology professionals.

Requires domestic travel up to 50%, of which 10% may be international, to serve client needs.
