Description
Amazon is looking for a Software Development Engineer who is passionate, innovative and have a heart for Nourishing People and the Planet. You will be a Software engineer working on designing and developing long term, scalable and high-impact programs within the Worldwide Grocery Stores Tech (WWGST) organization.
This team is responsible for tier 1 consumer services for omni-channel marketing and in-store Retail applications and will be deployed to tackle some of our most complex and challenging projects. The team will deliver innovative technical solutions to advance the retail grocery industry.
Our team's mandate is to launch, accelerate and optimize in-store printed and digital marketing experience using in-Store Retail Applications offering a differentiated in-store shopping experience. We're looking for entrepreneurial and innovative individuals who thrive on solving tough problems. This is a great opportunity to join a team with many greenfield application design and development.

You will design, develop and deploy reliable distributed solutions that operate at Amazon scale. You will work with a variety of core languages and technologies including Java, Linux, and AWS services. Basic Qualifications
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
