Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Utilize SQL to implement infrastructure projects and handle engineering tasks to help build next generation of semantic layers solutions. Customize data sources to fund operational assets including dashboards, anomaly detection models and predictive analysis. Understand business requirements, build design document, create prototypes, impact assessment, and playback the impact statement. Assist the replication of real world data modeling in sandbox environment to build IT scripts utilized in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, allowing UAT staff to run the tests in a realistic and safe space. Work closely with data warehouse architects and software developers to generate flawless business intelligence including producing actionable reporting from both enterprise (for example Core) and custom tools (for example Consignment management) for end users. Use SQL, Tableau and Python to provide break-fix support for production analytic solutions, in order to keep the current infrastructure operational and the business running. Present results of analysis to business units, utilizing both real-time strategies (for example using Webex, Tableau, Keynote or Executive Presentation) and automated functionality tool such as Python-drive alerting systems that help push actionable data when actions is needed by the business. 40 hours/week. Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related data engineering occupation. Alternatively, the employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related data engineering occupation
Position requires 3 years of experience in all of the following areas:
Data modeling using SQL
Database management utilizing ETL
Handle subscription data models
SQL in the Snowflake
Position requires 2 years of experience in all of the following areas:
Lead data analytics, data transformation and data management projects
Dimensional Modeling
Tableau, ThoughtSpot or Github
Big Data
Data Analytics
Position requires 1 year of experience in all of the following areas:
Predictive analytics
Statistics
Machine Learning
Data Science
