JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute quality control processes per purchased product, manufacturing operations, and customer quality requirements.
Inspection of parts, assemblies, and finished products utilizing necessary tools and equipment in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and drawings.
Perform measurement using calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and CMM/VMM.
Document inspection activities using electronic systems, written logs, and labels.
Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvement of inspection methods, inspection plans, and
internal quality procedures and processes.
Assist with the resolution to internal/external nonconformance using root cause, corrective action, and 8D methodologies.
Assist in data analysis and department metrics reporting as required.
Assist with the continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in the resolution of audit findings, observations, and recommendations.
Assist with the control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB).
Drive scheduling of day-to-day processes; ensure timely and accurate turnaround.
Other QC duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or higher ( Associate Degree in a technical field preferred)
2 -4 years of relevant work experience or training required, preferably in a regulated environment (e.g.,
automotive, aerospace, medical device).
Experience with ERP and PLM Software Systems.
Experience with quality control processes.
Experience with caliper, gauge inspections
Experience with AS9100 OR ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in the aerospace or electronics industry
Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and/or IPC/WHA-A-620 certification
