Insight Global HVAC Mechanic (Night Shift) in Austin, Texas
Job Description
The HVAC Mechanic will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of HVAC equipment at a Journeyman level of service including air-conditioning equipment, refrigeration equipment, HVAC control systems, and more. Paying $31.57/hour.
Shift: Night Shift, 10:00pm-6:30am, Tuesday-Saturday OR Sunday-Thursday
Performs the maintenance, diagnostic testing, overhauling, installation, and effects repairs on a large variety of types of refrigeration, dehumidification, air-conditioning, ventilation and heating systems equipment and controls within critically controlled environmental installations.
Performs preventative maintenance functions which include, but are not limited to: changing filters; cleaning cooling towers, cleaning heating and cooling coils, etc.
Connects motors, compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls, and circulating ventilation fans to control panels and connects control panels to power source.

Skills and Requirements
EPA/CFC Universal
3 years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial settings in a large, complex environment
Knowledge of computers and basic computer applications
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics null
